How tto send a distribution list from Outlook contacts to Sharepoi

I want to send an Outlook 2003 distribution list from my contacts area to a
sharepoint site to use as a 'user group' is this possible? if so can you help
me understand 'how to' do ? thanks!
 
Get the names to from the DL and invite them to the sharepoint list?
