I would like to get some programming idea for creating a powerpoint slide, as
follows:

1. Creating a button for moving Previous and Next slide.
2. To jump into a particular slide.

3. To show some data from excel file.
4. To find some data from excel file.

5. Graph from excel file.

Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.
Regards,

Regards,

These are very general questions about fairly large problems.

If you're looking for complete, already-coded solutions, I doubt you'll find
any. If you want to write them yourself, people here will help.

It would be best to start by explaining what level of experience you have in VBA
(assuming that's the language you want to use), and explain a bit more about who
the solution is for (your own use, a commercial product or other ...)

Thanks for your answer.

The problem for sl. no. 1 has been solved by inserting action button.

I have no knowledge in VBA. (The only programming language I know is Visual
FoxPro and working with Version 9).

I am an insurance agent. I would like to prepare a beautiful slide show for
my customer only.

Unless it's changed radically since I used FoxPro last, it's not too much like VBA.
Then again, the last time I used it was version 2 on a 286 computer.
It probably *has* changed just a bit since then.

But still ... it's a big project.

In case it helps, we have an add-in called PPT Merge that does at least some of what
I think you want here. Have a look at http://www.pptools.com/merge/ (the free demo
lets you test it out thoroughly).

It won't merge data into graphs, but you might be able to get round that with some
clever use of linked Excel charts.
