How to work out 'printing per page' costs?

Is there a way that I can work out how much printing costs per page in
XP depending on the printer and if in colour, black & white or paper
type?
If there is an online web calculator or an app that will do this (where
I can input certain criteria) then that would be great.
Thanks

Most printer manufacturers provide this information as part of the
marketing "fact" sheets and specifications for each printer.

True, but if you *really* wanted to be accurate, then you'd keep track
of the consumables used and do the math yourself. The larger the
sample size the more accurate the average page costs results would be.

Knock yourself out.

(And by the way, printing under XP is not different from printing
under any other OS. Your post would have perhaps received a better
answer if you placed it in a newsgroup related to your printer
manufacterer.)

A person on this site explained how he calculated how much ink he
used.

This is something I never have given ANY thought to. (I try not to think it
keeps me out of trouble)
I buy generic inks so the cost is irrelevant.
And if it's an employ problem try using a networked laser printer in a
central location or hire employs you can trust.

CR does post alot of questions huh?
