I'm currently using Windows XP and I have been unable to
view avi files. I've downloaded 4 different movie
viewers that claim to be able to view AVI files but I end
up only hearing the audio. I've been told to downloaded
codecs but I dont know what those are or where to
download them from. Can anyone help me? I'll love you
forever.....Thanks.....Nadia

In all likelyhood, you need the DiVX codecs. You can get these from
www.divx.com

Some one is smart, tell me, will the divx.com have the
codec for xvid compression of the avi files,"dont think
so" why dont you tell to get the codec pack, which has
every single codec. I dont think you know any, so here is
the link

Yo Alex,

Let me give you a little tip to use the next time you post a long URL - so
it doesn't break off, and create straggling text, like you did.

Put "<" right before the hyperlink and ">" right after it. It will
encapsulate the link, and protect the whole thing, no matter how many times
it wraps around... You can do something like this:
http://search.symantec.com/custom/u...iver=nis_2003&qp=url:us-lu&qt=msn&boolean=and

Just an example of a longish link? I put "<", pasted the link, then ">"
(minus the quotes). The < > are invisible after you press enter.

Also, if you're going to try to be rude, don't make silly mistakes like you
did, and be sure to use proper grammar and use a spell-checker.
It just makes us chuckle at you. Peasant.
