how to use the fill function (serial no)while we are in filtered field

we are unable to give or fill the column with serial
numbers by using the fill option while we are in filter
mode means selected one of the filter option of the drop
down list of filter.

That's right, you can't do that in filter mode.

Instead, you can sort your data based on your filter criteria, then do the
fill.
