Hi, I've changed the default style in a word document, I would like to know
how to use this style in other word document? I am using MS Word 2000.
Thanks!

go to FORMAT --> STYLE --> ORGANIZER and copy the style from one document
to the other.

Thanks for reply. It seems can only change the Normal.dot which, I think,
may effect on all other new document. What I need is something like "import"
a theme from an existing document to a new or an opening document.

Hi CM

As Kate says, Organizer can be used to copy between documents - you need to
close Normal.dot and browse for the other document. Use the ? button for
help on the dialog if you haven't used it before, and/or type 'Organizer'
into the answer wizard.

But from your second description of what you want, you'd be better off
making a template of the document whose styles you want to reuse. Then you
can create new documents from that template, and have them automatically
inherit the style. You can also more easily use the Organizer to import to
an open document (you'll be in the Templates directory when you start to
Browse from the Organizer) or you could attach an existing document to the
template and update styles.
