Hi,

I have two computers at work, and would like to be able to check my mail
from either one. We use Outlook 2000 with a MS Exchange Server.

I used to have my .pst file on a network share so that I could point to it
from either computer. Recently this stopped working due to "Delayed Write
Failed" errors, and now I am back to having the .pst file on the local
hard-drive.

Is there any other way to have the mail delivered to my personal folders and
still allow it to be checked from either computer.

Thanks

We have a pst file because this is what the IT people have told us to do,
and because they have a rather agressive size limit on the server mailbox.
Am I missing something -- I'm not an expert here.

Thanks.

why are you using personal folders when you have exchange? using exchange
as it was intended is the solution... and it's the only way.

David,
Don't listen to Diane. I am an IT specialist- and it makes
total sense to be using pst files with an exchange server.
When people have too much email on the server, it gets
bogged down, so pst files help a lot.

You say you started receiving error messages all of a
sudden? Have you tried researching that error message on
the message boards or in the Microsoft Knowledge Base?

Also, you could try sharing the file from the one computer
and then point the other computer to that file (it is
virtually the same thing, but may work)

Good luck.
