How to use ODBC From Access to an SQL Database

I'm having trouble using ODBC from Access 97 to an SQL Database (which
uses a FoxPro front end, if that matters). I believe the SQL Database
is MS SQL Server 2005.

I do not get any error messages but the important tables are not
showing up. Some other things are showing up but I'm not sure what
they are.

Confused.

I've seen all sorts of articles about ODBC on Access, FoxPro, and
SQL. But I have not seen one on my specific issue.

I use ODBC from Access to another computer already, a mainframe
computer. No problems. Thanks,

Matt

Believing is not an option.

What driver to you use? Can you connect any other application to that
server? Try creating a file with extension .udl. Open it, try to connect...

No, it links up with it. But ALL the tables are not there. In fact,
when I use Excel to call up the tables, they are there. I don't see
the tables in Access, however. Perhaps it's an issue with those who
built the database. I don't know. I'm still researching this and
will get back to this list any further discoveries.
