how to use ftp in IE6 with a username that contains a '@'

Hi,

I would like to connect to a ftp server, but my
username contains a '@' (it's an email address actually).
So I enter :
ftp://[email protected]@host/

But IE seems to cut the username and use
ftp://toto.com@host/

What can I do ?
(Except changing the username)

does %63 in lieu of the first "@" do it?
