J Jerry Sep 24, 2005 #2 A new display card is a hardware issue and has nothing to do with Windows (software). Ask the folks that made the computer and/or read the manual that came with the system or the motherboard.

G Guest Sep 24, 2005 #3 With old card running in xp,open device mgr.,scroll to display adapters,expand the tree,R.click on the current card,select uninstall,close out,if software from card is in add/remove,then remove,after,shutdown computer,power-off,install new card.
