Im having troubles updating my bios. I have an ASUS
A7V266 motherboard. I downloaded the newest BIOS update,
and AFLASH. Im having troubles though creating a boot
disk that I can run AFLASH off of in order to update the
BIOS. Any ideas? Thanks.

Doesnt this do the same thing as booting with the windows
CD and going into console mode? If so.. aflash utility
would not work. It didnt even start to run. According to
the download, I'll need 4 disks to make a boot disk, Id
hatew to have to actuelly go buy some 3.5" floppys, since
I dont use them, just to do the same thing the windows 2k
CD does. Though of off ASUS website, this is the best I
could find to help my troubles
"Q: ACPI error in event viewer after resuming from S1
under Windows XP.
A: This can be solved by upgrading to BIOS 1007.002 or
later. Please download the newest BIOS"
There tutorial on making a boot disk doesn't work with
Win2k, maybe someone can elaborate?

You are way off the point here. Download a DOS boot diskette image from
bootdisk.com. Put the BIOS update and Aflash on it. Boot to the
diskette, and run Aflash from there.

Nothing to do with W2k. You may have downloaded Aflash, but you
certainly didn't read the instructions.
