how to update info

i have put together a spread sheet of rents for certian unit types. often
these rents will change. i do not want to have to change the entire sheet
everytime we change the rents. is there a way that i can put in some kind of
key where i can put all the unit types and the rents and if a rent changes
for a certian unit type then i can change it once on the key and it will
automatically populate all of that particular unit type with the updated rent
in the spreadsheet?

yes, very easy, instead of entering the rent every time, enter it in one
cell, say A1, then wherever you want that rent to appear, put =A1 in the
cell.
