During installation it asks you what disk you want
to install on. Install it on C (I think that would that be
disk 0) and then format E.

Hi, Yousoff.

Jordon's solution is a good one: Clean install a new copy of Win2K on C:,
then boot into Win2K on C: and use Disk Management to reformat E:.

If you don't want to reformat E:- probably because you have applications and
data there - then just delete the Win2K boot folder there. It probably is
named E:\WinNT, but might get E:\Windows or some other name. Boot into
Win2K on C: and tell it to remove the E:\WinNT folder - with all its many MB
of subfolders and files.

For a final cleanup, you can use Notepad to edit the hidden file C:\boot.ini
to remove the line under [operating systems] that refers to the deleted
E:\WinNT folder.
