Sorry to hear that you're still dealing with this issue.
So, was there an icon in the notification area for this program?
When you followed the directions on the web site, what exactly
happened?
In your earlier post you mentioned how your husband installed the
Generations software. Did you try to turn off the walladay
program while logged on with his account or yours? Just out of
curiosity, log on with his account and see if you can follow the
procedure documented on that web site and see what happens. Also,
at the same time, go to Start -> All Programs -> Startup and see
if there's anything listed there that could be related to this
walladay program.
If you're unable to turn if off from inside the program, you may
have to try the following:
Go to Start -> Run and type msconfig in the "Open" box. Click OK.
Once the System Configuration utility launches select the Startup
tab.
You'll see a bar | separating the Command and Location sections.
Double click on it so you can see all of the information listed.
In the Command section, look for a line for
C:\Windows\Walladay.exe.
Remove the check mark next to it.
Click OK.
Click the Restart button in the box that pops up.
When your PC starts up again you're going to see a box with a
reference to "diagnostic mode".
Simply check "Don't show me this again" and click OK.
If you don't see walladay listed, post back with what is listed
under the "Startup Item" column. It's possible that it's listed
as something else. Keep us posted on your progress.
