My notebook computer(Thinkpad T43) has only one partition... I installed
vista yesterday. It moved my windows xp("program files","windows","documents
and settings") to a folder named windows.old...
I want to uninstall vista....How to ?

The solution to having only one partition is not to use it for Vista.
Having done so, follow the procedures for retrieving needed files from the
windows.old folder and then restore XP from your recovery disks or the
recovery partition (hidden if there) according to your manufacturer's
instructions. If you recover by use of a function key during startup and it
is not working (F11 on a Dell) then contact the manufacturer for the
procedure for reenabling the key (Vista overwrites it on some machines).
