How to uninstall stubborn (or corrupt) application?

O

occam

My portable came with something called 'NTI CD & DVD -Maker 7'
pre-installed (as was Vista Business). I have no re-installation disk
for it -nor for Vista Business :(

When I tried to run the NTI software, it said it was corrupted -- please
to re-install. As I could not re-install, I decided to uninstall it.
Alas, same problem - cannot uninstall (somenthing is corrupted).

Question - Is there some way I can force the uninstallation of this
program ?

(I do not want to re-install the 'factory image' which came with the
Acer machine just to be able to rescue or uninstall this one application.)

Thanks for any pointers.

Acer have used NTI CD-burner software for years, instead of Nero, etc.

Acer's respone has always been full reinstall!

As you don't have a disk(Acer again!), forget about that burning program,
and install Nero, or whatever CD-Burning Program that you wish to.

You DON'T have to uninstall NTI, to install a new program to do the job
Just forget about it; and don't try to open it!

Cheers!
