A pc was running out of space and I found out .net was installed. There is
no application I know requiring the .net

To my surprise there was nothing I can do form add/remove program to
uninstall.
Google search shows only uninstall tool for .net 3, visual studio none of
which is on this pc.

is there some tools that I can use to uninstall .net?

I don't know which version it has, I assume it is .net 1.1 or 2

thx but resolved. found something else I can get rid of that gave me 2 GB
free space. I can deal with the .net uninstall later

Look for Microsoft .Net Framework in the add/remove programs list. I
removed version 1.1 and then found that PrintMaster 16 required that
version to run properly, so I had to reinstall it.

thx

however no such thing in teh add remove program, Actually I found out the
1.1 download option for optional software is listed for windows update.
There fore I assume I have only at most .net 1.0
but I could not find C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET but only C:\Program
Files\Microsoft.NET.

may be it was partially uninstalled?
