Dear All,
following a serious of catastrophies I decided to
uninstall and reinstall Win ME and to do so I have been
advised to uninstall IE 6 first.

Problem is that due to the aforementioned catastrophies I
can only start in safe mode and can not uninstall from
control panel. Any advise?

Also I get this error message when try to fix IE 6
(Version 5.504143.100 of file thumbvw.dll exists but the
version needs to be greater than 5.50.4134.600).

Thanks
Taron

Well, there's this KB article...

Windows

....but I believe the WinME experts have found that this usually doesn't work
and that IE must be removed using IEradicator before reinstalling Windows.

Please post to this WinME-specific newsgroup instead for best advise:

I'll let 'em know you're coming. <G>
