How to uninstall Chinese & Japanese language packs installed via IE?

Not a very long time ago, I've visited several web pages which
formatted/encoded with Chinese and Japanese languages. So in order to be
able to view and recognize their language characters, I had to install the
appropriate language packs.
My question is how to uninstall them once they got installed? I need to do
this because, in my opinion, they takes a great amount disk space and tends
to slow down the operating system. The other reason is that I also have
rarely visiting these sites.
I'd appreciate any help regarding this matter since I've got no clue on how
to do that, either manually or automatically.

Hi andy,
Go to Control Panel , click Add/Remove Programs, in the window be sure that
Show updates is checked and look for both packages and remove them.
also to remove any traces for them and Temps on your computer use this
cleaner and check the Path for the files/Folder and Temps files/Folder and
click delete, but be carefull not to delete a system/App you want to leave
on your system/Disk.

Hope this helps
Please write back with your findings

Hi nass,
Thanks for the reply.
Under what name should I particularly look in Add or Remove Programs?
BTW, I think any language pack IE had installed will not gonna show up in
Add or Remove Programs.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
They were installed by IE, but asking me beforehand, though, whether I want
to install or not.
Once installed, I then were able to see and recognize the language
characters at those sites correctly.
As I am going to encounter those web sites very rarely in the future, I had
a thought of removing them from my pc, and will only install them again only
when needed.
Done google'd it, searched at mskb site, but no luck at all.

Andy

One removes them (in Windows XP) in Control Panel + Regional and Language
Options + Languages + Details + Remove. I assume that the removal frees up
the relevant disk space but I can't confirm this. Try re-installing them and
see if you are called on to insert the Windows XP CD. If you are, they have
presumably been deleted.
