My boss brought his 18 month old grandson to the office, let him punch keys
on the keyboard and now his screen is on it's side. How do we undo this?

This is not a Word issue. As your son to look at the display drivers on your
work computer...and to keep the little one's finger off of your work
computer. ;-)

What monitor, graphics card, OS?
On the basis of your minimal information I can only say open the displays
properties and rotate from portrait to landscape.

Turn the monitor on its side was the first thing that came to mind.
But, that was while I was trying to figure out just what this problem
has to do with Microsoft Word?

I would imagine that the little tot managed to change the video card
settings. I searched the Google Groups for WindowsXP (problably a
better place for your post) and found the following response to a
similar problem:

"In my case I have Nvidia video card so I go>right click on
desktop>properties>settings tab>advanced button> then
there will be a tab for your video card. In this case mine
is GeForce2 MX\MX200 I click that tab and then look for
the NVRotate and click it and there are the settings for
screen orientation. Yours will be **Rotate as well I
imagine. Have fun."

Try CTRL + ALT + Up Arrow

(Holding down CTRL and ALT while pressing one of the cursor arrow keys works
with a number of graphics cards - so if the Up Arrow doesn't work, try Down
Arrow, then left and right).

Good luck!
