I tried Office 2003 Pro and I really just decided to wait until the next
release to make a change.
Now ,I did uninstall office 2003 and everything was fine except for outlook
2002.
Couldnt find the icon to start outlook 2002, so I did a detect and repair, I
got my icon back and my mail is there, but when I click on send and recieve
I get "operation failed".
Then also at shutdown I am now getting a memory module error that wasnt
happening until I uninstalled office 2003.
Any ideals?

I need to append this with the following

My ISP settings are correct,
I can go into email accounts and send a test email and things are fine, but
when I try to send/recieve I get "operation failed".
I can open Outlook Express and I can recieve what I sent.
What next?

David, I am having exactly the same problem! I have been working on this all
day... I am still searching the Microsoft Knowledge Base, but to no avail.
If anyone has an answer to this problem, please advise.

I bet there are others who are experiencing this as well - so an answer
would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hey Becki,
After reading around for about 3 hours I finally found a solution to my
problems, hope the link below will take care of yours.
Read the directions(and what it doesn't tell you is to use the "copy" button
in the show profiles properties and rename it(saves you from having to
export and import files, although you will have to put in your passwords for
each of your email accounts))
Cheers!
