how to undo "hidden links" on properties

I accidentally put my links folder into "hidden" mode from 'read only' mode
and now I can't reverse this. Any ideas?? Thx!

Do it from Explorer and just reverse the procedure for the Links
folder.
Ensure that your view is set to show hidden files.

Can you tell me how to view hidden files? I click on view and don't see any
settings like that.

Well, I went into tools and then internet options and successfully clicked on
the 'show hidden files' option; only problem is when I try to right click
the links folder so that I could change the properties to 'read only' from
'hide', the links button doesn't work and in fact disappears so that i have
to bring it up again; each time i try to right click on the links bar, it
disappears. I have looked under favorites to see if the links folder is
there, but it is still hidden.

I've got it fixed now. After checking off 'show hidden files', I then went
into my c drive and found the links folder (which wasn't there previously).
I then right-clicked on the folder and put a check mark on the 'read only'
line.
