How to turn on "out of office" in Outlook XP 2002

I can't figure this out. I found the "help" document that is supposed to
explain, but in Step 10, it says to check the "Have server reply using a
specific message" box, and I don't have that choice.

Unless you're using an Exchange account, you don't have an Out of Office
Assistant. and the rule action you specify doesn't exist.

the rule won't allow a reply to every message from particular sender. Each
sender will get one reply only as long as the Outlook session lasts and
Outlook must be running in order to respond at all if you're not using
Exchange.
 
Autoreply messages are best implemented on the mail server. Check if your ISP
offers this option - you'll have to access your account on the server via the
web, not through Outlook.
