P PA-Woodchuck Jan 1, 2009 #1 I have an external DVD drive and would like to turn off autoplay. How do I do that? thanks Vista 64
T Tyro Jan 1, 2009 #2 Pressing the shift key for a few seconds after you insert the DVD in the drive and close the door stops autoplay for an internal DVD drive . May work for an external one, but as I don't have one, I don't know. Try it. Tyro
