How to turn of erasing old data after half a year.

The outlook calendar erases data that is half a year old. I sometimes would
like to know what I did more then half a year ago and I want to turn this
option off.

Also, this feature is very irritating, can I please decide for myself which
data I still find usefull and which not, and not let this be decided by a
software program.
