how to transfer word doc to outlook to email

Is there a way to transfer a Word 2000 document (or part of a doc) to
Outlook, and if so, how do you convert that word doc to an attachment in
Outlook so you can email that doc?

Have you tried File | Send To | Mail Recipient (As Attachment)?
