Setting up a new laptop with Vista.
Have a Belkin USB transfer thing.
All I want to transfer initially is the OE6 messages.
I can't find where the OE setting are on the old XP tree selections.
I can see everything else but I must not be looking right.

WOW (Vista Pun) 2 MVP's respond.
Thanks, guys, I should have elaborated a little more.
I know how to get the .dbx files and actually copied them to a folder which
I have on both a flash and the Desktop of both PC's. Made sure the
"folders.dbx" was included.
When I go to import and find the folder, the files don't appear.
That's when I tried the transfer cable. What I looked for in the wizard
setup was the ability to import only the messages. Couldn't find that.
One of you helped back when I did this with RC2 dual-booted on my own PC and
it worked.
This, however, is a new PC and this is my first attempt at using the File
and Transfer app with the USB wire, old to new PC. I'll keep trying, I've got
a lot more customers going to make the move.
Thanks again,
Pete

Make sure the DBX files are not Read Only and point to the folder they are
in on the local computer.
