Whats the command to transfer all files from 1 drive to
another in DOS. Please tell me in detail I want to
transfer all files from drive D:\ to drive C:\ .Thanks.

It is not a command as such, it is a program XCOP

It is not useful if you are attempting to clone your windows disk to a new disk or backup.

I've got windows ME installed on C: I'll format that disk
then I wanna put all my data in D: to C: so I'll have to
do it thru DOS isnt it. After that I'll install XP on D:/
Now do you get it so could you suggest sumthing like if I
put all data into one folder say NEW then whats the
command to transfer this folder to the other drive thru
DOS. Also these are not proggies just normal video, audio
etc.
