how to transfer email list from access or excell to outlook?

I am trying to transfer a list of email address that are already in an access
table and i have the list in excel if it will be easier, but i need to
transfer all 800 email address to an outlook distribution list? How do i do
this?

Open the list in whatever tool you wish such that you'll see the addresses
in a column, one address per row. The row can also have a name preceeding
the address if you wish. Your list will look like:

Name1 Address1
Name2 Address2
....etc...

or

Address1
Address2
....etc...

Use your mouse to select all of these rows, then press Ctrl-C to copy them
to the clipboard.

Now, in Outlook click File>New>Distribution List. Click Select Members.
CLick in the Members field and press Ctrl-V to paste the clipboard contents
to the field. Click OK. Name and save the DL.
