How to transfer custom toolbar in powerpoint

Thanks TAJ,
I saw the first link and checked out the second. My success was limited. I
can see my customized toolbar on another computer, but it doesn't work
because it's looking for macros at a wrong address, involving my login name.
In Word you can tie macros and toolbars to a template, but in Powerpoint it
seems to be impossible. May be I did something wrong initially?

You probably didn't do anything wrong, it's just that PPT is quite different
from Word. You can't have macros/toolbars associated with templates or
documents in PPT, and you can't have code run automatically when templates or
documents are opened.

The PCB file stores any customizations to the interface, but it doesn't contain
any macros. Depending on your PPT version, it may remember the location of the
PPT file that contains the macros and (behind the scenes) load that file when
you click the buttons on the toolbar, but it's not something I'd rely on.

Better to combine your macros into a single PPT file, add some code to it to
create toolbars/buttons and save that as a PPA.

Start here:

And be sure to see the PPA FAQ at http://skp.mvps.org

Thank you, Steve,
I'll study the links you've provided. Looks like that was the info I was
missing to solve this issue. Too bad, code distribution is not more
consistent across the MS Office applications.
Thanks again!
