How do I successfully transfer a PowerPoint (PP) presentation on to a web
page? I know that in PP there is a way to convert it to an HTML format. Is
that good enough? How does that work with CSS?

If there are a few tutorials out there I would appreciate someone pointing
me to them or a few sentences explaining what I have to do would be
appreciated!

Thanks!

Good enough for what? ;-)

Seriously, PowerPoint 2000 and up do a surprisingly good job of converting
presentations to html but there are a few drawbacks. The results are targeted
more at MSIE than the other browsers and you don't get a lot of control over
how the presentation's laid out and displayed.

It uses CSS but doesn't really open the CSS up for you to control. The HTML it
makes is complex and doesn't lend itself to human-editing.

Have a look here and at the next couple pages after it:

Put your PowerPoint-generated HTML on the web

If you want something that's more CSS-friendly, see our PPT2HTML demo and info
at: http://ppt2html.pptools.com

There's no CSS-specific info there, but PPT2HTML would let you use CSS to
control formatting, no problem.
