Hi, Again

This time, I'm wondering, how can I *totally* back up WinXP Pro so that, in
the event of another glitch, I can restore *everything* - INCLUDING the
registration info?

I tried using the System Tools backup function, but forst off, the BKF
files does not restore to the original (backed-up) dorectory, and second,
it does not do a total backup - none of the registry OR registration info
is backed up, or, if so, it at least deos not get reconstituted via the
Restore Backup function.

If I copy the whole dir to a new dir, there are evidently some files (such
as the registry and registration info) that are not copied.

I tried looking but nothing new, just suggestions to use the methods that
already don't work =:-(

Also, how do I kill RAID? I don't want to use it but, when I boot up, I
get this msg to enter RAID setup, which is not problem per sae, but it si
annoying - then, when I do get into WinXP (Safe Mode), I get an annoying
popup insisting that I install "hew" hardware - i.e. the RAID stuff. So
I'd like to Nix the thing totally...

TIA!

- K.
