How does one tell which version of a program one is using in Windows
XP?

I went to My Computer > C drive > Program files, but I don't see
anything about which version it is.

Many thanks,
Carl

Hi Carl:

If you want to know the version of Windows XP, right-click on "my computer" and click on
"properties".

If you want to know the version of any program installed on your computer, download and install
Belarc Advisor. http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

HTH!

Belarc but if you are running the program in question, normally Help, About
will give the information (and will for all Microsoft programs.)

My thanks to all of you for your suggestions. Carl

Hey, Carl: Glad to share whatever little I know . . . .
