How to tell W2K Pro to run a program upon logon and shutdown?

Using W2K Pro + SP4.
I need the exact steps since I am not too familiar with
handling all those policies and registry entries.
I have the POLEDIT.EXE from the original W2K Adv. Server
if this can help.

Thanks,
David

I managed to get my script run (during shutdown). The script is a .BAT
console file.
It has an interactive statement (verified to work).
But when my script runs, no console windows is opened and therefore
I cannot interact with the script. If I run the script from Start->Run,
a console windows opens up and everything is working fine.

It seems to be a unique during the shutdown proceedure.
Is there a place where I can tell the computer to run shutdown scripts
visibly?

Thanks,
David
