Hello Mark,
How can I confirm my embedded image has the Eolas Active X patent
infringment patch?

Run the image, start IE, navigate to the page with ActiveX. If you see a
floating hint "click on this control to activate it" - your image has
#$@#%^ eolas fix.

For the rest - check which MS fix adds the patch, check what was
changed, verify that those dlls have appropriate versions.
