Why would you want to?

Your response is not relevant and unethical: The first
thing you need to know is NOT why he wants to do something.
MYOB CA.

As he won't post properly and wants to waste others time I'm prepared to indulge him in his fruitless search till he gets fustrated and wants to act as an adult.

If one wants help one posts the problem. He is posting what he thinks is the solution (which it isn't) to a unknown problem.

Seeing he is so smart why is he here asking questions.

The wanker is getting exactly what he deserves.

Scum like him also come here claiming memory leaks.

It isn't on, although it may appear to be.

When you look at that check box, it can have three settings: on
(black check), off (empty box), and not applicable (gray check).
Folder have that gray check mark. They are not read-only and
there's nothing to take off.

If you are using Windows XP professional, You have the option to give certain rights to each user for a particular folder. Just uncheck deny and check allow for full control, modify, read & excecute, list Foldr contents, read, and write according to your preference. However, please state your OS next time

Scum like him also come here claiming memory leaks.

And scum like your candy-ass come here leaking your feces
all over people who have difficulty phrasing questions. I
prefer the first scum to the latter.
