How to syncronize between work and home

Well, my employer has outlawed sync'ing with PDAs - too much risk to
the network, I guess. So I can no longer use my PDA to keep my home
outlook contacts and calendar sync'd with my work computer.

Short of copying the .pst and packing it back and forth, what other
options are there? Adding software programs to the work computer is
not an option - very Draconian security policies are in place.

Work computer uses Win xp OS, Outlook 2000, on an exchange server.
Home is Win xp OS, Outlook 2002, not networked.

Expect I'm stuck, but any suggestions would be appreciated.

Will they let you use VPN so you can connect to your Exchange mailbox via
Outlook and sync to an OST file?

Other than hauling PST files back and forth, in this case I can't think of
another option. Although you could sync your Outlook contacts with a Yahoo
address book, if you have a Yahoo account. Might work in both places, but I
wouldn't recommend it due to potential data loss.

Rats. No, but thanks anyway. The suggestion to use My Briefcase
probably would work, but I don't have a zip drive. I can burn cds on
the work computer, but this seems pretty clumsy.

I'll check into the VPN, but I doubt it. If it has the slightest
potential for adding work for our IT department, it's an automatic
"no-go". Not to mention there are policies against dl'ing anything
from a personal web account.
But - worth a try.
Thanks!
