How to synchronize Outlook Contacts with iPod Classic

The iPod is set to manually synchronize. I copied the information from
Outlook once, when I tried to update it took only a few seconds and all the
info was gone from the iPod. I have tried it numerous times and it always
goes through the motions, but very brief and gives me the message "contacts
updated" but nothing is there.

Thanks. It seems this is a known problem, but havn't been able to find any
solutions.

Find the PST file and make a copy. If you are installing outlook 2007 on the
same computer, it should pick up the profile and pst automatically.

See http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/filepath.htm if you need help
finding the PST files.
