When I want to save an email that arrives, it automatically saves in personal
contact list. I have to cut and paste to bcm list. Is there a way to do
this directly into bcm list.

Also, shouldn't there be a shortcut icon on the bottom left panel that
distinguishes between both lists, some kind toggle switch.

why not save to contacts then drag to BCM?

Bottom left panel of what screen?

Well, that's a lot of work. Why should you have an add-on to simplify your
work and then have to do two steps to get into BCM. First you save in
personal, then you have to go to personal and drag into bcm! What I meant by
the bottom left panel is the frame which has the mail folders. On the
bottom, where you can just have shorcut icons for mail, calendar, notes,
etc., you can only have the personal contacts icon button. I thought perhaps
you can customize and put the business contact button for bcm there. I did
find that they had an icon button for bcm on the bcm toolbar, after I worked
in it for a few hours, so I guess that is solved, however, illogical.

BCM is an addin, not built into outlook and the navigation buttons are not
customizable, so no button at the bottom (otherwise, many addins would add a
button to the same menu). Addins can add toolbars - which is why you have
the menu option there instead.
