How to suppress the item "Favorite Links" in Computer display ?

Hello.

How to suppress the item "Favorite Links" in Computer display ? (vista
ultimate beta 2)

If you mean on the left hand side where the Folders view used to be, you
should be able to right click within that area (preferably a blank area)
click on Open, then you should be able to remove the shortcut. I'm not
on my Vista machine at the moment, but I believe that's what you mean :)

Hello.
The only thing I can do is to remove links to items (Pictures, Music, ...).
I would like to completely remove the Favorites Links pane (above the
Folders at left of window)

That option is not available, you have to use Scott's method.
