I just bought a package of 100 4x6 sheets of HP Premium Plus Photo Paper,
high gloss. It is in a seal package. This will last me many months based
on my present usage.

What is the best way to store the paper for an extended period once I open
the air tight package? Does it make sense to store it in an air tight bag
like a zip lock bag?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Yes, keeping the paper in a sealed bag would prolong its life. Humidity
will be an issue. Also keep the paper stored flat, perhaps with something
flat on it to keep it from curling.

Yes, especially certain HP and other companies papers which use
swellable polymer technology. The papers attract and absorb moisture,
may become saturated or sticky even. For consistent results, I would
indeed at least single, if not double "zip lock" bag it.

Yes, can do easily. I'll take out a dozen and put it in a ziplock, and the
rest in another, storing it flat.

Thanks, Arthur and Bob...............Dave C.
