How to stop "tabs" from "stacking"?

Whenever I get a lot of apps or docs open, instead of one tab for each
instance, the tabs start to "stack".

i.e. when I have a lot of "Outlook" windows open, instead of each window
having a tab at the bottom, it will only be one tab, with a number showing
how many windows are under that tab.

How can I get it not to "stack"?

Thanks,

Hi Steve,

Right-click a blank area of the Taskbar and select Properties. Uncheck the
checkbox beside "Group similar taskbar buttons", then click on Apply then OK

Right click on your Start button and select Properties from the menu.
Note: You can also right click an open spot on your Taskbar and select
Properties from the menu.
In Taskbar and Start Menu Properties, click on the Taskbar tab.
On the Taskbar page, remove the check mark from the box next to "Group similar
taskbar buttons".
Click OK.

Good luck
