I have a form that is based on a query. This form provides a picture which
is placed into an image control and obtains the path for the image to be
displayed from a column in a table.
Everything work fine, but whenever I go to a next or previous record, a
dialog (with no operator intervention required) flashes up briefly saying
something like 'accessing file' or whatever.
My question is: How can I stop this box from flashing up briefly whenever I
go to another record. The dialog is totally dependent on the processor
speed, so on a fast PC is hardly noticed, but on slower machines is on for
long enough to draw the eye.
I have tried echo off, but this does not help it.
Any help will be appriciated.
TIA
