How to stop a process...

Hi,
I am running a application on a win2k server. I used to
connect this server from home using Telnet. Sometimes I
need to stop and start this application. How can I stop
this application from command prompt.
I mean is there any command like "ps in unix/linux" in
windows.

Help Me plzz

As far as I know there or not a native command for this.
There is however a toolkit which provides you with this functionality;
