How to start working on frontpage

I have several novice questions..

1. I have windows XP, I thought it comes with frontpage, but I can not
find it in my program files except for an empty folder named frontpage.
So, do I have to still buy it?

2. What version should I buy, 2002 or 2003?

3. Where to buy it from, if I don't want it through free schemes?

4. My web hosting service supports only frontpage 2002, if I buy 2003,
would it be a problem?

FrontPage does not come with Windows XP. You must purchase it as a
standalone program. Ignore that folder. It's simply part of the O/S.

The latest is FP 2003. Buy it at a software store.

The latest and last version of FrontPage server extensions is 2002. FP 2003
works with it.

Yes, you have to purchase the full version.

Local software retailer or from a major online retailer / Microsoft

No problem, the hosting company is talking about the FP Server Extensions, which the current/last
version is FP2002, which is fully supported by FP2003 client application.
 
You have to buy it.
Why not buy the most recent version?
Purchase it from amazon.com or numerous place.
Ask your host about support.
