How to sort one column while keeping others row data in sync?

I'm trying to delete data I don't need but I need to keep all Row data in
sync while I sort any of the column data.
What would I need to do to get this done?

Hi
rather than selecting a column & sorting it, click on one cell, then choose
data / sort from the menu ... choose your column and sort.

Thanx for a quick response.
That does what I want but some reason it seems to splits the task in two.
Say from line 1 to 1500
it looks right but from 1501 on it follows the same rule ignoring 1 to 1500.
If that makes any sense
 
I figured out why it did that. I noticed that it didn't like blank data and
found one row that was somewhat hidden, I deleted that line and all is well,
