In Outlook 2003, my address book is sorted by First Name, although my
Contacts are sorted by Last Name. I can not find any way to get the address
book sorted by last name.

This problem resulted when I exported Contacts from Outlook 2000 on computer
A to a .pst file, and then imported the file to Outlook 2003 on computer B.
In my Outlook 2000, the contacts and the address book are both sorted on
last name.

Please, can someone please tell me how to get the address book properly
sorted? I have tried everything I can find.

Many thanks, Robert

Sounds like you just haven't set the Address Book sorting option correctly.
Go to Tools > E-mail accounts > View or change existing directories or
address books > Outlook Address Book > Change. > Set your sort order there

That did it. Thanks a million, Russ.
