I am trying to create signed a macro using a local CA server to sign it. I
have instlalled a certificate capable of signing cotent, however when
launching tools -> Digital signature->Choose from the Outlook Visual Basic
editor no certificates appear in the list. I assume I am not installing the
certifiate correctly. I have tried enrolling for a certifacte from the CA
through the CA web site http://<servername>/certsrv and also through the MMC
certificates snapin. Where am I going wrong?

Thanks,

Will

I did the same research, the problem is most users cannot enroll for code
signing certificates in a CA. Modify the rights fort hat type of sertificate
for the concerned user so "Enroll" shows up in his rights. Then you can apply
for a code signing certificate and it will show up iun the list for signing
code
