How to show the content of a folder

Can anyone tell me how to automatically generate a page that shows the
content of a specific folder? I tried the Table of Content Web Component, but
it does not work right. I just want to show it, but not letting users
actually access the files.

Contact your web host ask them allow browsing of the specific folder, however I am not sure it your
web host can or is willing to then block access to downloading the files
