how to show records listed adjacently in a form

how can I show contacts adjacent to one another in a form. I have checked the
phone list form in Northwind database but it shows it in a continuous form.

Surely you just position the text boxes wherever you want them on the form?

Or by contacts, do you mean "records" ?
 
Yes by contacts I mean records. I want to show the records one next to each
other card style.
